Privacy Policy

Datum Fuse LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates OpenSourceAIHub.ai (the “Service”). We are committed to transparency in how we process data and protecting the privacy of our users.
1. Our "Privacy-First" Architecture
Unlike traditional AI platforms, OpenSourceAIHub.ai is designed as a stateless security gateway.
No Retention of Content
We do not persist, store, or “train” our models on the text of your prompts or the content of AI responses.
Transient Processing
Prompts and responses exist in our volatile server memory (RAM) only for the duration of the API request and are destroyed immediately upon completion of the transaction.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account & Billing Information
Personal Data: Name, email address, and profile information provided via OAuth (Google/GitHub).
Billing Data: We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe provides us with limited metadata (e.g., last 4 digits, subscription status).
B. Operational Metadata (Persisted)
To provide your Dashboard and Usage Analytics, we store the following metadata:
- Request timestamps and latency.
- Model and provider utilized.
- Token counts and associated costs.
- Security Events: Type of violations detected (e.g., “PII_EMAIL”), the action taken (Blocked/Redacted), and the positional offsets within the string. We do not store the underlying sensitive string.
C. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for NextAuth (authentication) and Stripe (fraud prevention). We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
3. AI & Image Processing (OCR)
Multi-Modal Data: If you utilize our Vision features, images sent via Base64 are processed by our Vision Security Layer to detect sensitive data.
Immediate Deletion: Images are held in memory during the scan and are deleted immediately after the PII analysis is complete. Images are never written to persistent storage of any kind.
4. Third-Party Data Sub-Processors
To fulfill your requests, we must transmit your (redacted) prompts to third-party AI providers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data will be processed by:

Note on Provider Training: Most open-source providers we utilize (like Groq) do not use API data for model training. However, you are encouraged to review the privacy policies of the specific providers you enable in your “BYOK” settings.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.
Metadata: Retained for up to 12 months for your dashboard analytics, after which it may be aggregated or deleted.
Right to Erase: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated metadata at any time by contacting support@opensourceaihub.ai. We will process such requests within 30 days.
6. Security Measures
We implement enterprise-grade security to protect your data:
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit via TLS 1.2+ and at rest via AES-256.
Isolation
Your provider API keys are protected by AES-256 authenticated encryption within a hardware-backed key management infrastructure. Encryption keys are stored separately from the encrypted data.
Fail-Closed Design
If our Hub Governance Engine is unavailable, the request is terminated to prevent accidental data leakage.
7. Compliance (GDPR/CCPA/Illinois)
International Transfers: Data is processed primarily in the United States.
Data Controller: Datum Fuse LLC acts as the Data Processor for your prompt data and the Data Controller for your account information.
Governing Law: This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account.
